Narrative
First, I’d like to state that relationships don’t suddenly just end! There isn’t a couple on the planet that was happy one day and the next, someone woke up and said “I want to break-up”. The warning signs that they were headed for a break-up were always there and in motion. Some couples simply chose to ignore the warning signs thinking that life will correct the issue for them. One thing about warning signs, if not attended to, the inevitable will happen.
Warning signs are simply a mechanism that you and your partner need to take a time-out from everyday life and work on your lives together. Constant fighting about finances, sex, lack of support, erratic behavior, time mismanagement, and issues with prior baby Mama’s & Daddy’s are some of the typical warning signs of a troubled relationship. These issues should be addressed immediately and discussed thoroughly to resolve them! Any of these issues left unresolved will morph into cheating, larger financial issues, and eventually a break-up. The question you have to ask yourself is simple: How far are you willing to go to save, salvage, or resuscitate your relationship? Are you willing to give your relationship CPR in order for you and your partner to survive and move on to marriage?
